Effective Date: August 19, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Nekt's website, iOS app, App Clip, Nektbot, contact-sharing, scheduling, artificial-intelligence, and connected-service features (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Nekt helps people exchange selected profile and contact information, organize contacts and groups, find mutually convenient times and places, connect calendars, create or modify requested events, and use Nektbot or AI-assisted tools in supported communication services.
Features may vary by device, location, account type, provider permissions, workspace configuration, and Service version. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law.
When you connect Apple, Google, Microsoft, Slack, Microsoft Teams, email, or another provider, you authorize Nekt to access and use the information and permissions presented during connection solely to provide the features you request. You may disconnect a service in Nekt where that control is available or revoke access through the provider. Some organization-managed connections may require action by a workspace administrator.
Third-party services are operated independently. Their availability, permissions, content, and actions are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Nekt is not responsible for a provider outage, provider change, workspace decision, or action taken outside Nekt's control.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Nekt a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and create technical adaptations of that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and provide the Service and the user-facing features you request. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except where continued retention is permitted by these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to provide contact information, messages, files, calendar details, workplace information, and other data concerning another person. Do not use Nekt to collect, disclose, or act on another person's information unlawfully or beyond the authority granted to you.
When you share information, send a message or invitation, or create an event involving another person, that recipient or provider may keep a copy. Nekt cannot control information after it has been delivered to a recipient or written to a third-party service.
You may not:
By enabling a connected channel, you authorize Nekt to receive and send messages, scheduling proposals, confirmations, event invitations, and related service communications through that channel as described during setup. Carrier, internet, provider, or workspace charges may apply. You can stop channel communications by disconnecting the channel, removing Nektbot, changing provider permissions, or contacting us.
Nekt and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, branding, and technology, excluding your content and third-party materials. Subject to these Terms, Nekt grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
Our Privacy Policy explains how Nekt collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information and the controls available to you. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through Settings. Deletion removes the account and associated active account data as described in the Privacy Policy. Information already delivered to recipients or third-party providers may remain in their systems.
We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or harm, or when required by law. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. After termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and responsibility for prior conduct—remain effective.
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, delivery of a message or invitation, availability of a provider integration, or preservation of every feature or item of content. You are responsible for maintaining copies of information you need and for confirming important scheduling actions with the relevant participants and providers.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NEKT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEKT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or applicable requirements. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when required by law. If you continue to use the Service after revised Terms become effective, you accept the revised Terms, except where law requires a different form of consent.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to alex@nekt.us or through Send Feedback in Settings.
